I use baskets for everything, everywhere in my home. Three baskets in a row on a shelf portray neatness and hide the contents in them. It is the neat way to be messy!
Make sure to utilize them by some sort of system. Example, this basket is for towels only, or this basket is for hair products only. That way they do not become a catch-all for everything that does not have a home.

Had to mention the bin, a close cousin to the basket, and even more valuable in the home for it’s ability to hold gallons of items. These bins are a catch all for our shoes when we come home. They also keep dirt out of the house. These bins are my favorite organization system. We could not function without this system. One shoe would always be lost.
